Acta Marine Takes Delivery of Acta Pegasus, a Methanol-Ready Walk-to-Work Vessel for Offshore Wind Projects
Acta Marine has taken delivery of the Acta Pegasus, its fourth Walk-to-Work DP2 Construction Service Operation Vessel, designed for offshore wind projects. Built in Turkey, the methanol-ready vessel accommodates 135 people and features advanced access systems, including a motion-compensated gangway and a 6-tonne crane. Acta Pegasus will operate under the French flag, supporting sustainability goals and is the first of four new vessels expected by 2026.

Acta Marine has received Acta Pegasus, its fourth Walk-to-Work (W2W) DP2 Construction Service Operation Vessel (CSOV). Built at Tersan Shipyard in Turkey, Acta Pegasus accommodates 135 people and features advanced offshore access systems, including a 3D motion-compensated gangway and crane.
The vessel is methanol-ready, aligning with Acta Marine's sustainability goals. It will operate under the French flag from Montoir-de-Bretagne, supporting offshore wind initiatives. Acta Pegasus is the first of four new vessels, with Acta Hercules, Acta Gemini, and Acta Aquarius scheduled for delivery in 2026.
The vessel incorporates a twin X-STERN hull design for improved performance and has dual-fuel engines that can use marine gas oil or a methanol blend. It is equipped with a crane capable of lifting 6 tonnes and offers high comfort accommodations and amenities for crew wellbeing.
