AGCO Power's Core80 engine has been named Diesel Engine of the Year 2026, recognizing its advanced technology within the Core engine family, developed in Linnavuori, Finland. This award underscores innovations in off-highway powertrains used in agriculture, construction, and forestry.

The Core engines exhibit a 5% improvement in fuel consumption over previous AGCO models. The Core80 offers up to 1680 Nm of torque and is compatible with hybrid and alternative fuels. All AGCO engines run on renewable HVO diesel, with ongoing development for hydrogen and methanol testing at the Clean Energy Laboratory.
