AGY and JPS Composite Materials have formed a partnership to produce North America's first low coefficient of thermal expansion (Low CTE) glass fiber fabric tailored for advanced integrated circuit substrates. This collaboration aims to bolster U.S. semiconductor material localization and supply chain security.

AGY's ultra-low CTE glass fiber will be combined with JPS's fabric production expertise to create a domestic supply chain for high-performance semiconductor applications. Initial production is already in progress, with customer qualifications ongoing.
