Air Astana Awarded DHL GoGreen Plus Certification for Sustainability Efforts
Air Astana has received the DHL GoGreen Plus certification, recognizing its commitment to reducing CO2 emissions through sustainable aviation fuel. This marks the first time a Kazakh company has been awarded this certification, highlighting its leadership in sustainable logistics in Central Asia.

Air Astana has been awarded the DHL GoGreen Plus certification for its efforts in minimizing CO2 emissions linked to international logistics using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This initiative marks a significant achievement as Air Astana is the first company from Kazakhstan to receive this certification.
The recognition was presented by Yevgeniy Bagdashkin, General Director of DHL Express in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of corporate contributions to decarbonization in air freight logistics. The collaboration reflects a broader commitment within the aviation sector to adopt sustainable practices, aligning with global ESG initiatives.
