Alcotra has joined the Maritime Ethanol & Methanol Alliance (MEMA), initiated by the Global Centre for Green Fuels (GCGF), to promote the use of ethanol and methanol in marine fuels. The alliance aims to support initiatives for the decarbonisation of the marine fuel sector. Alcotra plans to leverage its expertise and global supply chain to provide sustainable alternatives to hydrocarbon-based fuels and ensure a reliable supply for the maritime industry.
