AlixLabs Partners with VDL ETG to Industrialize APS Technology
AlixLabs and VDL ETG Projects have signed an MoU to advance the industrialization of Atomic Pitch Splitting technology. This collaboration aims to enhance semiconductor patterning processes, aligning with industry demands for efficiency and sustainability.

AlixLabs AB has entered a memorandum of understanding with VDL ETG Projects to industrialize its APS technology, facilitating scalable manufacturing for semiconductor patterning. Under this agreement, VDL ETG will develop and manufacture APS tools, transitioning the technology from R&D to production-ready systems.
In Q1 2026, AlixLabs secured €15 million in Series A funding from Stephen Industries, aimed at enhancing its atomic layer epitaxy (ALE) solutions. This investment, along with expertise from Kustaa Poutiainen, is expected to accelerate the commercialization of APS technology. The industrialization of APS is crucial for meeting the needs of advanced semiconductor fabrication.
