Alperia has entered into a long-term biogas supply agreement with Dolomites Milk, marking one of Italy's first Biomethane Purchase Agreements. The deal will provide Dolomites Milk with 2 million standard cubic meters of biogas annually, contributing to sustainability and decarbonization efforts in South Tyrol's agri-food sector. The agreement, which spans seven years with a possible three-year extension, aims to support stable production and reduce CO2 emissions.

Alperia has signed a long-term agreement to supply biogas to Dolomites Milk, a South Tyrolean producer of whey and milk powder. This agreement, one of the first Biomethane Purchase Agreements (BPA) in Italy, aims to enhance sustainability, circular economy, and decarbonization in the agri-food sector in South Tyrol.
Alperia will provide 2 million standard cubic meters (smc) of biogas annually, while also supplying natural gas to meet Dolomites Milk's total energy needs of approximately 3 million smc per year. The agreement lasts 7 years, with an option for a 3-year extension, supporting stable production planning and reducing CO2 emissions. The deal underscores Alperia's role in the energy transition and aims to integrate renewable energy sources into the supply chain.
