Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited has launched a 600 V Super Junction MOSFET platform aimed at enhancing efficiency and power density in various power conversion applications. The initial device has a maximum on-resistance of 37 milliohms and is designed for switched-mode power supplies, telecom rectifiers, and solar converters.

It features a robust body diode and improved handling of avalanche and short-circuit conditions, ensuring reliability in demanding environments.
