ARAI and DSCI Partner to Enhance Cybersecurity in Automotive Sector
The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) to improve cybersecurity in the automobile industry. This collaboration aims to create a coordinated approach for addressing cyber and privacy risks, essential as vehicles become more software-defined and interconnected.

ARAI has established a partnership with DSCI to enhance the automobile industry's cybersecurity readiness by adopting evolving data protection regulations. The agreement focuses on uniting original equipment manufacturers, suppliers, semiconductor firms, and policymakers to tackle interconnected cyber and privacy risks across the automotive value chain.
By leveraging the regulatory expertise of both organizations, the initiative promotes knowledge exchange, leadership dialogues, and joint research to develop practical solutions for the industry's complex challenges. As vehicles increasingly integrate into digital ecosystems, the emphasis on cybersecurity and privacy strengthens, necessitating increased collaboration among stakeholders to ensure secure innovation.
