Azora Expands in Italy with New Milan Office and €1.5 Billion Investment Plan
Azora has launched a new office in Milan and plans to invest €1.5 billion in Italy's real estate and infrastructure sectors. This strategic move reinforces Azora's commitment to the Italian market, focusing on hospitality, student housing, and biomethane initiatives.

Azora has established a new branch in Milan, marking a significant step in its European expansion with a planned investment of €1.5 billion in various Italian market segments. The office will initially employ 12 professionals, led by Simone Palmieri, who brings over 20 years of Italian market experience.
Investments will target hospitality, student housing, and green infrastructure, particularly in biomethane, as well as residential, logistics, and data centers. Azora's entry into Italy began in 2019 with the acquisition of the Grand Palladium Sicily and was strengthened by the 2021 acquisition of Bluserena, adding 4,200 hotel rooms to its portfolio.
The company has also developed a biomethane platform with seven projects in regions like Lombardy and Sicily. This expanded presence is expected to enhance local partnerships and investment opportunities.
