Bandi Sanjay Highlights Assam's Growth and Declining Insurgency Amid DoNER Projects
Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar commended Assam's development under the Ministry of DoNER, noting significant progress in infrastructure and a reduction in insurgency. Nearly 10,000 ULFA militants have surrendered in the past five years. Over 1.51 lakh government jobs were filled, and investments worth Rs 5 lakh crore were signed, including a semiconductor project creating 27,000 jobs. Sanjay urged more focus on vocational education and medical infrastructure while visiting the Kamakhya temple and planning trips to inspect welfare schemes.
