Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar praised the development of Assam under DoNER, reporting a decline in insurgency with nearly 10,000 ULFA militants surrendering in five years. He highlighted the filling of 1.51 lakh government jobs and investments totaling Rs 5 lakh crore, including a semiconductor project creating 27,000 jobs.

Sanjay noted improvements in health, agriculture, and infrastructure but called for enhanced vocational education and medical facilities. He visited the Kamakhya temple and plans to inspect welfare schemes in Dima Hasao district.
