Bangladesh-Malaysia Trade Exports Approach $300 Million with High-Tech Focus
Bangladesh's exports to Malaysia have increased from $56 million to nearly $300 million over the past decade, highlighting growing trade relations. The next phase will focus on high-tech collaboration in the semiconductor sector and engagement in the global Halal economy, according to Malaysia's High Commissioner to Bangladesh. This was discussed during the 25th anniversary of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI). The chamber's president emphasized the commitment to diversifying business ties between the two nations.

Bangladesh's exports to Malaysia have risen from $56 million to nearly $300 million in the last decade, indicating strengthened bilateral trade. Malaysia's High Commissioner, Mohd Shuhada Othman, announced that future cooperation will emphasize high-tech collaboration in the semiconductor industry and the global Halal economy.
This announcement was made at the Silver Jubilee celebration of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI). BMCCI president Shabbir A Khan highlighted the chamber's growth since its establishment in 2001 and its commitment to enhancing business relations between Bangladesh and Malaysia. The event was attended by key officials and business leaders.
