Bannerman Energy Reports Progress on Etango Uranium Project in Namibia
Bannerman Energy announced that early works construction at its Etango uranium project in Namibia is on budget and schedule. The bulk earthworks contract is 66.5% complete, with heap-leach pads, ponds, and wet plant terraces being constructed. Additionally, 24% of the required heap-leach drainage aggregate has been processed, and 32% of the concrete volume for Phase 1 and Phase 2A has been cast. The company is also advancing discussions with NamWater on a permanent water supply agreement and has signed a power supply agreement with NamPower.

Bannerman Energy reported significant progress in early works construction at its Etango uranium project in Namibia, with the bulk earthworks contract at 66.5% completion. Construction efforts focus on heap-leach pads and ponds, with local contractor Tulela Mining currently advancing the processing of heap-leach drainage aggregate, achieving 24% of the total requirement.
A total of 5,509 meters of concrete has been cast for the primary crusher and associated infrastructure, which is 32% of the planned volume. Detailed designs for both dry and wet plants are on track, with civil and mechanical design 93% complete.
The installation of the permanent water supply pipeline is 70% complete, and discussions with NamWater continue positively. Bannerman has signed a definitive power supply agreement with NamPower, with design work progressing for the feeder bay at the Kuiseb substation.
