Bell Canada intends to build an AI data centre campus south of Regina, confirmed by documents filed with the Rural Municipality of Sherwood. The rezoning application is part of the Bell AI Fabric project, which plans to establish six AI facilities across Canada.

The campus will provide critical infrastructure for AI research and create unspecified high-skilled jobs. It will feature over 300 parking stalls and include a SaskPower substation. Phase 1 will construct an 8,500-square-metre building, expected to start in 2026. The University of Regina and Saskatchewan Polytechnic have endorsed the project, which aims for sustainable development through a potential partnership.
