Key officials from the Pro Pedernales Trust, Airport Department, Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation, and the Dominican Electricity Transmission Company coordinated construction stages. The control tower is expected to be finished by December, with equipment procurement already in progress. This airport is part of a broader initiative to boost tourism and economic growth in southern Dominican Republic.
