Calderion, WenCo, and Terravent Invest in Graforce to Scale Plasma Pyrolysis Technology Globally
A consortium including Calderion, Terravent, and WenCo has completed a multi-million euro funding round for Berlin-based Graforce GmbH. The investment aims to industrially scale Graforce's proprietary plasma pyrolysis technology to meet the global demand for low-carbon hydrogen, synthesis gas, and cost-effective carbon removal solutions compatible with existing industrial infrastructure. The partnership with RAG Austria AG will focus on system optimization and industrial integration.

The investor consortium, comprising Calderion, Terravent, and WenCo, has finalized a multi-million euro funding round for Graforce GmbH to scale its plasma pyrolysis technology. This technology is designed to replace CO₂-intensive processes, converting methane, biogas, and landfill gas into clean hydrogen and synthesis gas while capturing carbon as high-purity industrial raw material.
Graforce's collaboration with RAG Austria AG will enhance system optimization and support modular plants. The funding will facilitate technological advancement, deployment of additional industrial plants, and international market development to meet rising demands in steel, chemical, and transport sectors.
