Cargill Launches First Green Methanol Dual-Fuel Vessel Brave Pioneer
Cargill has launched the Brave Pioneer, its first green methanol dual-fuel dry bulk vessel, marking a significant step in the company's decarbonization efforts. The vessel, built by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and owned by Mitsui & Co. Ltd., can operate on both conventional marine fuels and green methanol, underscoring Cargill's commitment to sustainable solutions through innovation and collaboration.

Cargill has announced the maiden voyage of the Brave Pioneer, the first of five green methanol dual-fuel dry bulk vessels chartered by the company. The vessel represents a milestone in Cargill's commitment to decarbonization, focusing on innovation and collaboration with clients and partners to develop sustainable solutions.
Built by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and owned by Mitsui & Co. Ltd., the Brave Pioneer is designed to operate on both conventional marine fuels and green methanol, a low-carbon alternative.
