China Merchants Nanjing Tanker Orders Three New Chemical Tankers for RMB 492 Million
China Merchants Nanjing Tanker has commissioned the construction of three 6,600 dwt stainless steel chemical tankers at a total contract value of RMB 492 million. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2028 and will meet the latest emission standards, featuring advanced energy-saving technologies.

China Merchants Nanjing Tanker has ordered three 6,600 dwt stainless steel chemical tankers from China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Yangzhou Dingheng Shipyard for RMB 492 million ($71.33 million). The vessels are set for delivery in the first half of 2028.
They will comply with the latest IMO and Chinese emission standards, incorporating advanced energy-saving equipment and a methanol dual-fuel ready configuration. This initiative aims to optimize the chemical tanker fleet structure, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen market positioning in the chemical transportation sector.
