Climeon HeatPower 300 System Approved for NovaAlgoma Cement Carrier in China
Climeon's HeatPower 300 system has received Factory Acceptance Test approval and will be delivered to Zhejiang Xinle Shipbuilding Co. in China for installation on NovaAlgoma Cement Carriers' methanol dual-fuel bulk carrier. The system, certified by RINA, will enhance energy efficiency by generating up to 300 kW of sustainable electricity from low-temperature waste heat, with shipment scheduled for January 2026. This project signifies Climeon's expansion into new vessel types as the maritime industry increasingly focuses on energy efficiency and emissions reduction.
