Consumers Energy will conduct overnight upgrades to substation equipment in Galesburg, affecting around 1,200 customers. The project is set for March 7 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. March 8, impacting areas from North 37th Street to South 38th Street.

The upgrades are intended to improve electric service reliability. A backup date is scheduled for March 14 during the same hours if the work is postponed.
