D3 Energy Completes Second Well in South Africa, Prepares for Production Testing
D3 Energy has drilled its second well, NGT245D, to a depth of 348m in South Africa's ER315 permit. This step is crucial for the company's reserve expansion and production application efforts.

D3 Energy has successfully reached a total depth of 348m on its second well, NGT245D, within the ER315 permit in South Africa. The drilling rig is currently installing production casing at the first well, NGT245E, which will enable flow testing and compositional analysis of both wells.
The project aims to assess reservoir deliverability and gather data on helium and methane concentrations in the Ventersdorp and Witwatersrand formations. With independently verified helium concentrations of up to 8.0%, D3 Energy's operations could significantly impact the regional energy landscape as production development advances.
