Daegu City has partnered with Samsung Electronics and the Daegu Chamber of Commerce to enhance support for youth transitioning from welfare to independence. The 'Hope Stepping Stone' agreement, signed on the 16th, aims to provide housing through one-room apartments and tailored case management services for these young individuals.

The partnership will fund improvements to the Daegu Self-Support Integrated Support Center, assisting around 100 youths annually. Additionally, Samsung will offer specialized training for roles in electronics and semiconductor manufacturing, while the Chamber will connect trained individuals with local businesses to facilitate stable employment.
