Dayton Coalition Announces $1.7B Investment and 984 New Jobs by 2025

The Dayton coalition announced a $1.7 billion capital investment expected to create 984 jobs by 2025, generating over $73.3 million in new payroll. Projects from Westrafo, Joby Aviation, and Sierra Nevada contribute to these figures.
In November, IBM and the University of Dayton revealed plans for a semiconductor nanofabrication lab on campus, with an investment exceeding $20 million, to be completed by early 2027. The lab will focus on research and education while providing a talent pipeline for IBM. Sharon White received the Maureen Patterson Regional Leader Award for her contributions to community initiatives.
