DHL Group Advances Sustainability Goals in Asia Pacific with SAF and Electric Vehicles
DHL Group has made significant strides in sustainability across Asia Pacific, targeting net-zero emissions by 2050. Key initiatives include signing sustainable aviation fuel agreements for 20 million liters by 2030 and launching GoGreen Plus for 153,000 customers. DHL Global Forwarding partnered with CMA CGM to purchase biofuel, reducing 25,000 metric tons of emissions. The group deployed hydrogen-powered trucks in Japan and an electric vehicle fleet in Thailand, with over 1,800 electric vehicles currently in use. New carbon-neutral facilities have also been established.

DHL Group is enhancing its sustainability efforts in Asia Pacific, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050. In 2025, it signed aviation fuel agreements for 20 million liters of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to be used by DHL Express.
More than 153,000 customers utilized the GoGreen Plus service to lower Scope 3 emissions. DHL Global Forwarding partnered with CMA CGM for 8,800 metric tons of biofuel, reducing emissions by 25,000 metric tons.
The company deployed hydrogen trucks in Japan and expanded its electric vehicle fleet to over 1,800 vehicles in the region. Newly built carbon-neutral facilities in Thailand further support these sustainability goals.
