Dollar Academy's Eco-Education Building Milestone Completed by Robertson Construction
Dollar Academy's eco-education building, designed by architect Andrew Whalley OBE, has reached a significant milestone with the completion of its steel frame, marked by a signing ceremony led by Robertson Construction. The two-storey structure will house the Futures Institute at Dollar Academy (FIDA) program, promoting sustainable education through advanced facilities and a focus on reducing carbon emissions. The initiative aims to enhance educational opportunities in sustainability and support local employment and apprenticeships across Scotland.

Dollar Academy's eco-education building reached a milestone with a steel signing ceremony marking the completion of its steel frame. Delivered by Robertson Construction Central East, the two-storey building will house the Futures Institute at Dollar Academy (FIDA) program for sustainable education.
Designed by architect Andrew Whalley OBE, the structure features a geodesic timber dome and green steel, reducing carbon emissions. FIDA will provide advanced facilities and is accessible to students from across Scotland, supporting local employment and apprenticeships. The project aims to expand educational opportunities in sustainability and enterprise.
