Eamon Waters' Huntstown Circular Economy Hub Receives Planning Approval
The Huntstown circular economy hub adjacent to Bia Energy's bioenergy plant has received planning approval after delays due to an appeal. Eamon Waters, known for his investments in commercial property and the waste industry, is driving this initiative through his family's company, Rathdrinagh Land Unlimited, trading as Irish Recycling. The company has also been approved to build a compressed natural gas dispensing facility in Dublin and a recycling center near Enniscorthy.

The Huntstown circular economy hub, located next to Bia Energy's bioenergy plant, has gained planning approval after being stalled since 2024 due to an appeal. Eamon Waters, who sold his Beauparc empire in 2021, is expanding into the circular economy through Rathdrinagh Land Unlimited, which operates as Irish Recycling.
The company has previously secured permissions for a compressed natural gas dispensing facility in Dublin and a recycling and materials recovery center near Enniscorthy, Co. Meath.
