East China Electric Power Design Institute Secures Bid for Shenyang Green Methanol Project Consulting
China Energy Engineering Corporation's East China Institute of Power Engineering has won the bid for preliminary consulting services for the Shenyang Wind-Solar-Hydrogen Integration Biomass Green Methanol Demonstration Project, producing 100,000 tons of green methanol. Located in Liaoning Province, the project aims to reduce carbon emissions by nearly 70% compared to traditional methods, leveraging local resources. This win supports CEEC's strategic goals and marks a significant step in Northeast China's new energy market.

East China Electric Power Design Institute, part of China Energy Engineering Corporation, has won the bid for consulting services for the Shenyang Wind-Solar-Hydrogen Integration Biomass Green Methanol Demonstration Project, which aims to produce 100,000 tons of green methanol. Located in Kangping County, Liaoning Province, the project integrates wind, solar, hydrogen production through electrolysis, and biomass gasification.
It is designed to significantly reduce carbon emissions, achieving nearly 70% reduction compared to coal-based production. This bid win aligns with CEEC's strategic development goals and enhances its position in the new energy sector in Northeast China.
