Eastaway, the ship owning and management arm of X-Press Feeders, is actively pursuing net-zero emissions, guided by managing director Rajneesh Rana. The company has pioneered the use of methanol as an alternative fuel and is exploring various decarbonization technologies, including hull coatings and propulsion systems. Emphasizing crew training and digitalization, Eastaway aims to provide practical training in line with the IGF code. Despite delays in the IMO Net-Zero Framework, Eastaway remains committed to reducing emissions and investing in new ships.
