EcoSimplex Launches Biogas Hydrogen Station in Seoul
EcoSimplex has commenced operations of the ECO-Hydrogen Station in Seoul, producing 500 kg of hydrogen daily from biogas. This initiative aims to support clean hydrogen production and reduce carbon emissions significantly.

EcoSimplex has initiated commercial operations at its ECO-Hydrogen Station in Magok, Seoul, utilizing approximately 4,000 Nm³ of biogas daily to generate 500 kg of hydrogen. This facility is part of a private initiative linked to the '2024 Biogas-Based Clean Hydrogen Production Facility Installation Project' by the Ministry of Climate, marking a first among public projects for commercial operation via on-site production.
The hydrogen produced will serve local transit buses and passenger vehicles. The transition to biogas for hydrogen production can reduce CO2 emissions by over 85% compared to conventional fossil fuel methods. EcoSimplex aims to expand its hydrogen business and infrastructure, leveraging insights from this project to foster further growth in sustainable energy solutions.
