Endeavour Energy Invests $320M in Power Infrastructure for Western Sydney International Airport
Endeavour Energy has launched a 132 kV digital transmission substation to power Western Sydney International Airport, part of a $320 million investment in energy infrastructure supporting the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. The substation was opened on 3 March 2026, with plans to create over 120,000 jobs and attract 1.5 million people in the next decade. The investment aims to provide reliable energy for sustainable growth.

Endeavour Energy inaugurated a 132 kV digital transmission substation on 3 March 2026 to power Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) and the surrounding Aerotropolis. This is part of a nearly $320 million investment in substations and high-voltage feeders.
The infrastructure will support airport operations and promote regional growth, targeting over 120,000 new jobs and 1.5 million residents in the next decade. WSI aims to enhance Sydney's global connectivity and is designed for sustainable long-term operation with reliable energy.
