Enerin AS Appoints Jacob Nørgaard Andersen as COO Amid Shift in European Energy Landscape
Enerin AS, a Norwegian technology leader in high-temperature industrial heat pumps, has appointed Jacob Nørgaard Andersen as Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2026. Andersen previously served as CEO of Stiesdal and brings extensive experience from Siemens and Vattenfall.
His appointment coincides with the European Council's 2025 agreement to phase out Russian natural gas imports by 2027, emphasizing the need for alternatives in the energy market. Enerin is transitioning to serial production of its high-temperature heat-pump modules, having raised €15 million in a Series A funding round in November 2025.
The company's technology is being adopted by major clients in energy-intensive industries, providing efficient and scalable solutions for process heat. Enerin was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Asker, Norway.
