Engineius Reaffirms Commitment to Renewable Energy Initiatives

GEOTHERMAL

Engineius, a prominent player in the vehicle movement sector, has reaffirmed its commitment to renewable energy initiatives, showcasing a dedication to sustainability that has become integral to its business model. Each year, the company invests in offsetting its carbon footprint in collaboration with Climate Partner, a climate-neutral specialist, to ensure its operations remain environmentally responsible and carbon neutral.

Since its inception in 2018, Engineius has proudly asserted its position as a leader in green practices within the automotive industry, emphasizing environmentally conscious choices, such as opting to drive electric vehicles (EVs) rather than transporting them. The firm’s partnership with Climate Partner currently supports renewable energy projects across Asia, reflecting its belief in the critical role that renewable energies play in global climate action.

Chris Clibbery, the CEO and founder of Engineius, stated that the company has successfully reduced its carbon output by an impressive 54,000 kg over the past four years—an achievement comparable to driving a petrol car around the planet more than twice. Despite this progress, Clibbery acknowledges the automotive industry's substantial contributions to greenhouse gas emissions and emphasizes the need for broader solutions to mitigate these impacts.

He highlighted that one-third of greenhouse gas emissions stem from the combustion of fossil fuels, which not only depletes finite resources but also poses significant threats to the climate. To combat CO2 emissions and address increasing energy demands, promoting renewable energy sources is essential.

The most prevalent forms of renewable energy—wind, solar, and hydropower—are complemented by biogas and biomass technologies, which utilize organic waste for energy generation. Additionally, geothermal energy, harnessed from the Earth, presents another sustainable option.

The projects supported by Engineius are registered with international standards, ensuring that they play a vital role in implementing and transferring renewable technologies globally. These initiatives not only help to avoid CO2 emissions but also reduce reliance on fossil fuels, secure energy supplies, and create jobs for local communities.

Clibbery concluded by emphasizing the importance of supporting global renewable energy projects, which allow Engineius to maintain a broader perspective while continuously striving to implement best practices within its own operations.
