Epsilon Composite Expands in India with New Manufacturing Facility
Epsilon Composite has secured significant commercial opportunities in India following an official visit organized by the French embassy and Business France. The company, which specializes in carbon fiber pultrusion, has formalized three contracts in Tamil Nadu and secured over ten projects in the cable sector. Epsilon plans to invest 6 million euros in a new manufacturing unit in India as part of a larger 25 million euro global investment plan over five years. The company anticipates India will become its main market this year, potentially doubling its revenue.

Epsilon Composite's recent official visit to India has led to the unlocking of business opportunities, resulting in the formalization of three contracts in Tamil Nadu. The company, which specializes in carbon fiber pultrusion, currently operates a subsidiary in Chennai and is implementing advanced composite core conductor technology to replace steel in high and extra-high voltage cables.
Epsilon has secured over ten projects in India, with 95% of its local business in the cable sector, serving clients such as Power Grid, Tata Power, Balco, and Mittal Steel. It plans to invest 6 million euros to establish its first manufacturing unit in India as part of a 25 million euro investment plan over the next five years. Additionally, the visit facilitated unexpected opportunities, including an initial order for the Blacklite tactical stretcher.
