Epsilon Composite Expands in India with New Manufacturing Facility
Epsilon Composite's recent official visit to India has led to the unlocking of business opportunities, resulting in the formalization of three contracts in Tamil Nadu. The company, which specializes in carbon fiber pultrusion, currently operates a subsidiary in Chennai and is implementing advanced composite core conductor technology to replace steel in high and extra-high voltage cables.
Epsilon has secured over ten projects in India, with 95% of its local business in the cable sector, serving clients such as Power Grid, Tata Power, Balco, and Mittal Steel. It plans to invest 6 million euros to establish its first manufacturing unit in India as part of a 25 million euro investment plan over the next five years. Additionally, the visit facilitated unexpected opportunities, including an initial order for the Blacklite tactical stretcher.
