ERC Approves Grid Connection for RE Resources' 69.90 MWac Solar Project in Pangasinan
The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) approved RE Resources Inc.'s application to connect its 69.90 MWac San Manuel solar project in Pangasinan to the electricity grid. The project includes a 75 MVA substation and a 7-kilometer transmission line, with a total cost of P325.48 million. Construction, which began on January 27, is approximately 90% complete. The ERC emphasized the need for authorization for similar projects to maintain grid security.
