ETAC Launches Dual-Voltage Transformers and High-Voltage Substation Units for Utility Applications
ETAC Service & Supply has launched Dual-Voltage Padmount Transformers and Dead-Front High-Voltage Substation Transformers. The dual-voltage transformers support feeder voltage upgrades and feature copper windings, designed to CSA C227.4 standards with voltages of 4.16 kV and 24.49 kV. The high-voltage transformers range from 3,000 kVA to 20 MVA with primary voltages of 44 kV to 138 kV, built to CSA C88:16 standards, and designed to minimize infrastructure requirements.

ETAC Service & Supply has introduced Dual-Voltage Padmount Transformers and Dead-Front High-Voltage Substation Transformers for utility applications. The Dual-Voltage Padmount Transformers feature an integrated dual-voltage primary switching system, supporting 4.16 kV and 24.49 kV, and standard secondary voltages of 208Y/120V or 600Y/347V.
They comply with CSA C227.4 standards and will be showcased at the 2026 IEEE PES T&D Conference & Expo. The Dead-Front High-Voltage Substation Transformers are rated from 3,000 kVA to 20 MVA, with primary voltages from 44 kV to 138 kV, adhering to CSA C88:16 standards, and designed for reduced footprint and enhanced safety.
