The project features modern homes with sustainable amenities, including solar energy and biogas, and emphasizes the importance of stakeholder participation for its success and future expansion.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited a rural development site in Guraferda, Ethiopia, as part of the national rural corridors initiative aimed at improving farmers' and pastoralists' livelihoods. The model site includes ten modern homes with amenities, connected to electricity and equipped with satellite dishes, chicken coops, cattle shelters, and a productive garden.
The project incorporates solar energy and biogas for sustainable living. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of stakeholder participation for the initiative's success and expansion.
