EU Delegation to Launch Blue Valleys Initiative in Assam, June 8-9
The European Union delegation will visit Assam on June 8-9 to enhance cooperation with India's North-Eastern states through the launch of the Blue Valleys clusters initiative. This initiative aims to create sustainable industrial hubs, focusing on sectors like green energy, healthcare, and food processing.

From June 8-9, a high-level EU delegation will visit Assam to strengthen collaboration with North-Eastern states, focusing on value chains in renewable energy, healthcare, and food processing. The delegation will launch Assam's first Blue Valley Cluster, targeting sustainable industrial development in fragrances, AYUSH, and food processing, with a goal to connect local communities to European markets.
The initiative supports industrial clusters and MSME linkages while promoting economic growth and environmental sustainability. The visit will also include a workshop on building ecosystems and value chains, alongside meetings with state officials and a visit to Tata Electronics' semiconductor plant. This engagement reflects a strategic approach to unlock economic potential in the region.
