Fagerhult and Zumtobel Launch Open Data Model for Smart Buildings
Fagerhult and Zumtobel Group have launched a Lighting Extension add-on for smart buildings, enhancing integration across systems. This development aims to streamline operations and boost sustainability through improved data management.

Fagerhult and Zumtobel Group have introduced a Lighting Extension add-on for the open data model focused on smart buildings. This add-on enables the integration of lighting systems with other building systems, including ventilation and energy management, across different suppliers.
The solution, developed by Organic Response and Tridonic, has been validated within a real building environment at KTH Dig-IT Lab. The initiative is part of the RealEstateCore consortium's efforts to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability in property management. This integration could significantly lower maintenance costs and improve automation in smart buildings.
