Havells India Ltd. is significantly enhancing its cable manufacturing operations with a new fully automated plant in Tumkur and plans for E-beam technology integration. This expansion aims to meet rising demand from sectors like infrastructure and renewable energy, positioning Havells to capitalize on growth in the specialty cable market.

Havells India Ltd. has inaugurated a new high-tension (HT) cable manufacturing facility in Tumkur and is investing in E-beam technology to enhance its product offerings. The company has expanded its manufacturing capacity in both Tumkur and Alwar, with plans to improve operational efficiency by involving cross-functional teams and employing advanced automation. The growing demand from data centres and renewable energy sectors is driving this expansion, with a focus on fire-retardant and environmentally friendly cable solutions.
