FlyORO Launches First On-Site Sustainable Aviation Fuel Blending Facility in Australia
FlyORO has launched AlphaLite, the first on-site sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) blending facility at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport in Australia, allowing airlines to blend SAF with existing kerosene supplies. This modular system improves transparency, reduces procurement timelines, and lowers costs by eliminating intermediate logistics, while enabling operators to control blend ratios. Since early 2025, FlyORO has blended over 380,000 liters of SAF, promoting a scalable approach to aviation decarbonization tailored to regional needs.

FlyORO, a Singapore-based sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) solutions company, has developed AlphaLite, a modular blending system that relocates fuel blending closer to airports, allowing airlines and airports to blend SAF on-site with kerosene they already have. This system enhances transparency, reduces procurement timelines by up to six times, lowers costs by eliminating intermediate logistics, and gives operators control over blend ratios.
FlyORO's technology is currently deployed at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport in Australia, marking the first on-site SAF blending facility at an airport. As of early 2025, FlyORO has blended over 380,000 liters of SAF, demonstrating a new approach to decarbonization in aviation. This method allows for flexibility and scalability in SAF adoption, essential for regions with unique aviation demands, like Australia.
