ForeFront Power Launches First Erthos Solar System in Fresno
ForeFront Power has commenced commercial operations of its initial Erthos solar installation at Fresno's Northeast Surface Water Treatment Plant. This project, utilizing Erthos technology, reduces development costs and offers lower electricity rates for the city over a 20-year period.

ForeFront Power's Erthos solar energy system at Fresno's Northeast Surface Water Treatment Plant is now operational, providing significant cost savings through a unique Earth Mount Solar design that eliminates structural steel requirements. This project, part of a larger 27 MW-DC initiative across three city facilities, is projected to save over $122 million for ratepayers by 2045.
Since operations began in late March 2026, the system has delivered 862 MWh of energy, exceeding production expectations at 101%. The collaboration with Erthos ensures ongoing maintenance through advanced cleaning technology, enhancing system efficiency and reliability.
