Gdansk Refinery Resumes Production Post-Maintenance
Poland's Gdansk refinery has resumed output following maintenance, which enhances overall production capacity. This is significant as the refinery's operations impact regional oil supply and market stability.

Poland's Gdansk refinery, with a capacity of 210,000 b/d, has restarted production after completing scheduled maintenance in early April. This maintenance included work on various units such as crude and vacuum distillation, a diesel hydrotreater, and hydrogen generation units.
A second phase of maintenance will take the refinery's three base oil units offline from 8 April until mid-May. Additionally, Orlen plans maintenance on a hydrocracker at its Plock refinery from 13 May to 24 June.
Orlen's Kralupy refinery in the Czech Republic is currently shut down for maintenance, expected to restart in early May, while the Mazeikiai refinery in Lithuania was offline last month for similar reasons. The coordinated maintenance schedules could affect regional oil supply dynamics.
