Gdańsk LNG Terminal Project Advances with Microtunnel Preparations
The Gdańsk Floating LNG Terminal project has entered its preparatory phase, including a microtunnel linking to the mainland, with an investment of 4.5 billion PLN. Completion is anticipated by Q1 2026, bolstering Poland's energy infrastructure and security.

The Gdańsk Floating LNG Terminal project is advancing with an investment of around 4.5 billion PLN. A microtunnel measuring 1,100 meters will connect the terminal to the mainland, designed to protect local ecological areas.
Construction is set to be completed by the first quarter of 2026, leading into the main tunnel construction phase. The project is financed by a 2.2 billion PLN loan from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and receives around 19.6 million euros from the European Commission for environmental assessments. This development is crucial for enhancing Poland's energy security.
