Geely Reports 0.2% Profit Growth Amid 25% Revenue Increase in 2025
Geely Automobile's net profit increased by 0.2% to 16.85 billion yuan in 2025, despite a 25% rise in revenue to 345.23 billion yuan. The company faced pricing pressures and higher costs, leading to subdued profit growth. Vehicle sales surged by 39%, exceeding the target of three million units, with new energy vehicle sales rising 90%. Geely adjusted its portfolio by reducing its stake in Guangdong Xinyueneng Semiconductor and increasing its holding in Wuxi InfiMotion Technology.

Geely Automobile's net profit rose by 0.2% year-on-year to 16.85 billion yuan for the year ended December 31, 2025, despite revenue increasing by 25% to 345.23 billion yuan. The profit growth was impacted by intense price competition and elevated costs.
Total vehicle sales grew by 39%, surpassing three million units, with new energy vehicle sales increasing 90% to 1,687,767 units. Geely reduced its stake in Guangdong Xinyueneng Semiconductor from 40% to 26.07% and raised its stake in Wuxi InfiMotion Technology to 38.23%. The company acknowledged future industry challenges but also highlighted opportunities in electrification and intelligent vehicle technologies.
