Geminor Joins Research Project on Non-Recyclable Waste Utilization
Geminor is participating in the Bio&PlastiCCS project to explore the processing of non-recyclable plastics and biomass. This initiative aims to develop low-carbon hydrogen and other valuable materials while incorporating CO₂ capture and storage.

The Norwegian waste and resource company Geminor is involved in the Bio&PlastiCCS project, which is supported by the Norwegian Research Council. The focus is on utilizing non-recyclable plastic waste and biomass through Chemical-Looping Gasification.
The project aims to produce low-carbon hydrogen and additional valuable substances, as well as implement CO₂ capture and storage. This initiative reflects an increasing industry shift towards sustainable waste management solutions and may enhance Geminor's position in the market for green technologies.
