The German Bundestag's budget committee has allocated €1.9 billion for five key Bundeswehr procurement projects. This includes €1.34 billion designated for the 'Infanterist der Zukunft - Erweitertes System' (IdZ-ES), with completion expected by 2029, and a €180 million budget for upgrading F124 frigates.
Rheinmetall is set to deliver over 100 medium-range Loitering Munition Systems by 2028 under a €2.4 billion contract.
