Golden Island Completes Singapore's First Methanol Bunkering Under New Licensing Regime

Golden Island Pte Ltd has successfully conducted Singapore's first methanol bunkering operation under the new licensing regime established in January. The company delivered 300 metric tons of methanol to the Brave Pioneer, chartered by Cargill, using its tanker Golden Antares.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore issued licenses to three firms, including Golden Island, to supply methanol as of January 1, with licenses valid for five years. Golden Island operates four tankers for methanol operations: Golden Antares, Golden Sirius, Golden Centaurus, and Golden Carina.
