Green Township Circular Economy Pilot Launched in Itsoseng, South Africa at Future of Sustainability Conference
A public-private partnership has launched a green township circular economy model in Itsoseng, South Africa. Supported by Topco Media, the initiative focuses on empowering local youth and women through social enterprises that create eco-jobs and uplift communities. An 'ecopreneurship' program will provide financial literacy, business management skills, and technical training in green economy sectors. The project features low-cost technologies, including biodigesters for renewable energy and biofertiliser. The launch coincides with the Future of Sustainability Conference on March 24-25, 2026.

The Itsoseng circular economy pilot, launched on March 25, 2026, aims to empower local youth and women by creating eco-jobs and social enterprises.
