Grupo Vall Companys Achieves 27.11% CO2 Emission Reduction Since 2020
Grupo Vall Companys has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 27.11% since 2020, enhancing its commitment to sustainability. The company is investing in renewable energy and water management initiatives, aligning with ESG principles and circular economy practices.

Grupo Vall Companys has achieved a 27.11% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions since 2020, part of its strategic plan running until 2025. This reduction equates to 11,591 tons of CO2, comparable to removing 4,500 cars from circulation.
The company has installed 37.91 MWp of photovoltaic capacity, which constitutes 59.11% of its total energy consumption. Future initiatives include a 5.9 MW wind turbine project in Aragón and investments of €20 million in water management projects.
Notably, the company is enhancing its circular economy efforts by utilizing 22% of feedstock from by-products. It is also developing a biogas plant in Alcarràs with an annual capacity to process approximately 120,000 m³ of organic waste. Recognition from EcoVadis and the Carbon Disclosure Project reflects the company's improved sustainability performance.
