Gyeonggi and KEPCO Sign MoU for Underground Transmission Grid for SK Hynix Complex
The Gyeonggi provincial government and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop an underground transmission grid to supply power to SK Hynix's Yongin semiconductor complex. This project is part of a broader initiative to co-develop road and power infrastructure along a 27.02 km stretch of Provincial Road 318, linking Icheon and Yongin.

This initiative is part of the Road-Power Grid Joint Construction Cooperation Agreement, which involves the co-development of road and power infrastructure over a 27.02 km stretch of Provincial Road 318, connecting Icheon and Yongin, near the industrial complex.
